Recoating is a quick and easy way to make your floors look new again. It’s just a light rescreening and new polyurethane, but if you’ve been using furniture polish to clean your floors, you’ll need a heavier screening.
While white vinegar is fine to clean with, the ammonia in window cleaners permanently dulls your finish.
The silica base in these products also harm the long term performance and compromise future recoating ability.
