Celebrating its 43rd year, The Harding Art Show will host 70 artists from across the country May 3-5, 2018. And more than half of them are from right here in Middle Tennessee.

Some of those local creatives include Trevor Mikula, Troy Duff, Ed Nash, Lee Crum, Jim Sherraden, Katie Neal, Hannah Lane and Groh Artifact.

Held at Harding Academy, the event is open to the public and attracts 4,000 visitors every year. One of the aspects of the show that makes the experience extra special  is that exhibiting artists are present during this event, showcasing their fine art for purchase and interacting and engaging with attendees.

Proceeds from the show benefit Harding Academy student programs, facilities and arts education. Harding Academy is a co-educational day school serving pre-kindergarten through eighth grade with a stated mission to educate and inspire young people to become thoughtful, creative, lifelong learners and self-disciplined, responsible and caring citizens.

Erin McIntosh is the featured artist at this year’s show. An educator living in Athens, Georgia, she is known for colorful abstractions exploring dynamic compositions made up of organic and geometric forms in acrylic and watercolor.
