FRANKLIN. The Heritage Foundation’s Main Street Festival returns to downtown Franklin April 29-30, 2017. The free spring celebration is expected to draw a crowd of thousands for a fun-filled weekend of music, arts and crafts, food, and children’s activities.

Artisan Todd Perkins from Denver will have his custom guitars for sale at the festival

JURIED ART & CRAFT SHOW
More than 150 artists will offer handmade wares including jewelry, pottery, furniture, woodworking, leather work, and photography. (From 1st to 5th Ave.)

LIVE MUSIC

This year, live music will take place in three areas: The Guitar Center Stage on the Public Square, the 1st and Main Music Area by 1st Avenue, and the Holler & Dash Music Corner inside the Mantra Beer Tent on 4th Avenue South.

VINTAGE CARNIVAL FOR CHILDREN
Free activities planned for children include traditional carnival games, face painting, food, pony rides and a petting zoo.

FOOD COURTS 

No street festival is complete without food! More than twenty-five vendors will offer an international assortment of food including corn roast, barbecue, burgers & hot dogs, Greek food, Mexican cuisine, Italian ice. (Three locations: Third Avenue South;  Fourth Avenue South; and 1st Ave. & Main)

SNACKS
Kettle corn, funnel cakes and other snacks will be offered for sale throughout the festival site.

MANTRA BEER TENT
The Mantra Beer Tent  will feature a variety of beer and wine selections and live music. (Located at 4th Avenue South)

SHUTTLE PARKING
Shuttle service for one $1 (each way) allows you to park off-site at Church of the City or Harlinsdale Farm. Shuttle service is available on Saturday from 10 a.m. to  6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note: Food, drinks, pets, and non-folding strollers are not allowed on the shuttle.
