This weekend indulge in a one-of-a-kind traveling pop-up experience when the Cartier Precious Garage opens its doors to the public to highlights the Maison’s free-spirited interpretation of when the ordinary becomes precious, as well as new iterations of the iconic Juste un Clou and Écrou de Cartier collections.
A matte black truck transporting a gold container with the Precious Garage experience traveled to Nashville. Inside the gold container is a concept designed for Cartier by New York-based artist Desi Santiago. Known for his scenic performance work and cutting-edge aesthetic, Santiago stages installations shaped by references to the worlds of fashion and nightlife.
On Friday, September 14, Cartier kicked off the weekend at Track One in Nashville, the first stop for the traveling pop-up following the launch event at the Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion during New York Fashion Week. Guests enjoyed libations and small bites, took Cartier selfies and were entertained by Børns.
The Precious Garage at Track One will be open to the public on Saturday, September 15th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 16th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Track One, 1201 4th Avenue South.
About the collections
The first nail bracelet, Juste un Clou, was created in the 1970s by Aldo Cipullo for Cartier New York and echoes the free-spirited nature of the era through the use of a nail as jewelry, marking a turning point in jewelry design. In 2017, Cartier continued the revolution, reimagining the head of a hardware nut to create the Écrou de Cartier bracelet.
Today, returning to this intrepid spirit, Cartier introduces a new slimmer, flexible version of iconic Juste un Clou as well as new additions to Écrou de Cartier. In these iterations, the Juste un Clou bracelet is available in yellow and rose gold, and the Écrou de Cartier in yellow gold—both can be worn alongside the original or make a statement on their own.
Maison Cartier is one of the world’s most esteemed houses of luxury. The Maison Cartier designs and manufactures exclusive collections of high and fine jewelry, timepieces and prestige accessories, distributed through close to 300 Cartier boutiques worldwide.
